Heta Shah

Heta Shah is Architectural Lead at GIR Group, bringing experience across architectural design, planning, technical drawing and residential development, with professional experience spanning India and the UK.

She is a Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (COA), India, and holds a Master of Architecture (MArch) from Coventry University, with a RIBA Part 2 accredited qualification. She also holds a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) from ITM-SAAD School of Architecture, Art & Design, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, India.

At GIR, Heta is involved in the architectural and planning aspects of projects, working from measured surveys and existing building information through to design development, planning submissions and coordinated drawing packages. Her experience includes residential extensions, loft conversions, change-of-use proposals, window alterations and planning-led design work.

Prior to joining GIR, Heta gained experience across residential, commercial, mixed-use and urban design projects, alongside freelance architectural and interior design work in India and the UK. Her experience spans concept development, feasibility studies, technical documentation, planning and project coordination.

Heta combines a design-led approach with practical planning and technical understanding, with a particular interest in developing clear, considered solutions that respond to the existing building, client requirements and regulatory context.
