Chamindri Ratnayake

Chamindri is a Quantity Surveyor at GIR Group with more than 10 years’ experience across quantity surveying, estimating, commercial management, civil engineering and construction. Her experience covers building, refurbishment, infrastructure and public-sector projects, with involvement across both pre-contract and post-contract stages.

At GIR Group, she supports the commercial management of projects, including cost estimating, preparation of Bills of Quantities and pricing schedules, tendering, procurement, quotation analysis, valuations, variations, cost reporting, cash-flow forecasting and final accounts. She works closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to support commercially controlled and cost-effective project delivery.

She holds an MSc in Engineering Management (Merit) from the University of South Wales, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, and a BEng in Civil Engineering. She is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) and a Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (GMICE).

Her key areas of expertise include cost planning, estimating, tendering, procurement, Bills of Quantities, commercial management, valuations, variations, final accounts, risk and value management, and contract administration.
